Perhaps the most vital virtue is the trait of being grateful. With the recent crisis in the Philippines, it is important to realize just how fortunate those living in the Bay Area. So I give thanks for the opportunity that this valley presents me, something I know not everyone has. With that, I give thanks towards the privileged lifestyle I have been allowed to live. More importantly though, I give thanks to my family, as they are here with me now, and I send my sincerest condolences to the families affected by the typhoon. Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!

Serendipitous, indeed. In my philosophy and many others, I think that everything is all connected. Something leads to something else and it just keeps on going. Causes of an event can be traced back and it can be traced back and it can just keep on going.
ReplyDeleteOf course, coincidences causes tragedies as well. On Thanksgiving today, I'd like to dedicate a small portion of my mind to anyone or anything that ever felt pain.
